Terms of use

Last updated 17 September 2026. These terms cover the Appreci mobile app and the web application at portal.appreci.io.

Who you are contracting with

Appreci Pty Ltd of Brisbane, Australia. Contact hello@appreci.io. When you pay in the app or the web app, you are paying us. We are the merchant of record.

The service

Appreci lets you send and receive real-world gifts. These are physical or real-world redemptions, not digital content unlocked inside the app. We charge through Stripe, not Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing.

Accounts

You can close the account in the app (avatar → Settings → Delete my account) or via the deletion page.

What you pay

The gift, a service fee shown before you pay (currently 50c plus 5% unless a screen says otherwise), postage when the gift travels, and optional extras you tick. Prices are in Australian dollars unless the screen says otherwise.

Alcohol

You must be 18 or over to send or receive an alcohol gift.

Refunds

Australian Consumer Law guarantees still apply. If a gift does not arrive or we cannot fulfil it, email hello@appreci.io.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
